The 2 shale shakers are the most popular models made by GN Solids Control GNZS594. It is a 4-panel single deck shale shaker. It can either make as linear motion or dual motions while apply various vibrating motors.

GN Solids Control shale shaker is equipped with heady duty design shaker deck. The whole shaker deck of GN Solids Control shale shaker is treated by heat treatment. It enable GN shale shakers to suit for G force up to 7.5 G. If for high G drying shaker model, the G force can up to 8.0G.

The shaker deck of GN shale shaker is sealed with patent design sealing rubbers to avoid fine solids bypass and to protection the shaker deck and shaker screens during vibrating. And the patent design shaker deck sealing rubber is easy for installation and replacement.

Another big advantage of GN Solids Control shale shaker is equipped with mechanical deck angle adjustable device. Operators can adjust shaker deck angle while the the shaker is running. They do not need to stop the shakers. And plus, the shaker deck adjustment device is GN Solids Control patent design technology. The Screw conveyors is a simple and popular transfer device at oil and gas drilling field. As it is a rotating device, and at many job site, the top covers of screw conveyor augers are gratings, it caused some unexpected accidence.

One time, a clients contacted GN Solids Control to ask for support. He said they experienced by HSE issues at their rigs sides which were caused by screw conveyors. He said in the past year, some operators hurt their finger or foot by screw conveyors. It caused jobsite shot down.

GN Solids Control can provide motor starter with Emergency STOP Switches located Near the Augers. As an additional safety protection, GN Solids Control is capable to provide Audio / visual alarm system connected to the auger motor starters and located near the augers. The motor start equipped with Audio and visual alarm system will be automatically activated once the power is switched on followed by the actual auger startup with a safety delay time. And plus, the Audio and Visual Alarm to be in the OFF mode after some time once the auger starts operation. It is for giving ATTENSION to stuff nearby to let them aware about the start up of the screw conveyor, and ensure them have time to keep distance from the rotating device.

There are 2 packages of GNMS-1500D desanding plan. The handling capacity of the GNMS-1500D unit is up to 1500GPM. The major separation equipment is double coarse shale shaker GNZS707, which is a double deck shale shaker for coarse solids separation. After pre-separation shale shaker, there are number 2 desander cone with size 16 inch for big flow mud treatment.

Another 2 packages desanding unit is smaller capacity, the model is GNMS-1000D. The handling capacity is 1000GPM. The pre-separation shale shaker model is GNZS705. After shale shaker, the desander cone size is 10 inch with quantity 2.

GN Solids Control utilize high quality PU material desander cones for longer lifetime. The separation shake screen is made by 100% PU or by steel with big opening. Clients choose the right screen opening to reach the separation result.

Last week, GN Solids Control finished a set of decanter centrifuge and sludge & solids vacuum pump for an Environmental Solution Company.

The centrifuge is a 2-phase decanter centrifuge which can be used for separation oily sludge and non-oily sludge.
When the material feed to decanter centrifuge, the solids particles should be separated by GN Solids Shale Shaker to achieve correct particle size. Suitable API screen size should be chosen during the separation to achieve the separation result.

And the solids content before enter into decanter centrifuge should be less than 15%. It can be achieved by heating and dilution during pre-mixing stage. GN Solids Control can offer the pre-mixing tank which is equipped with heating pipes, agitators, slurry transfer pump and electrical control system for dilution and mixing. Operators can also prepare it at jobsite.
And plus, the Solid material density inside the oily sludge should be higher than liquid material. In this situation, after heating and flocculation, the solid phase can settle naturally or can be separated by lab tube centrifuge.

The output after 2-phase decanter centrifuge is solids phase and oil & water & soil mixture. So after 2-phase decanter centrifuge, 3-phase decanter centrifuge or disc centrifuge can be used to further clean the water, oil and soil.

The vacuum pump has a wide range application at waste management jobsite. The pump can suck slurry and feed the system. GN Solids Control vacuum pump can be used for liquid, solids and sludge transfer. The vacuum pump model used for the environmental solution company is a small size model GNSP-10, it is the smallest size vacuum pump made by GN Solids Control. Vertical cuttings dryer is also called as vertical centrifuge. It is driven by motor and gearbox. The high rotating speed will generate high G force and therefor to separate the liquid and solids phase.

GNCD930G-GP is a fixed speed vertical cuttings dryer. The power is from a single ex-proof motor driving system. The motor drive the main pulley, the main pulley drive the gearbox housing via V belt, the gearbox drive the bell jar combination and screen basket assembly. Fix the gearbox input shaft, to make the gearbox output shaft speed little lower than gearbox housing speed, to drive the rotor assembly in a speed which is slower than screen basket assembly rotation speed. Thus, screen basket assembly and rotor assembly form same rotation direction separation machine with proper differential speed.

The power of GNCD930G-VFD VFD vertical cuttings dryer is from a dual ex-proof motor driving system. It is a variable speed dryer. The motor drive the main pulley, the main pulley drive the gearbox housing via V belt, the gearbox drive the bell jar combination and screen basket assembly. The auxiliary motor is a flameproof motor. The input shaft is driven by the V-belt through the main pulley, so that the power is converted inside the differential to produce a speed slightly lower than that of the gearbox housing on the output shaft, thereby driving the rotor assembly to a slightly lower speed. Rotating at a speed lower than that of the screen basket assembly. Last week, GN Solids Control compete the production of 10 sets drilling mud shale shaker for an offshore drilling company in China for their international drilling activities. The shale shaker supplied for the project is model GNZS595, which is a 5-panel shale shaker.

Besides shale shaker, drilling mud agitator is another popular equipment in drilling mud solids control system. Mud agitators are widely used at shale shaker tank, mixing tank, reserve tank, suction tank to avoid mud settle down. Mud Agitator is composed of a driving motor, gearbox reduce, shaft, impeller / impeller, tank bottom stabilizer. Gearbox reduce ratio is important for the agitator performance. If the rotating speed is too slow, the mud may be settle down during and circulation. If the agitator rotating speed is too high, it may cause more fast worn out of the gearbox and may be damage the balance of drilling mud. Normally, the agitator speed should be less than 100RPM.

GN Solids Control Mud Gas Separator is located after BOP choke manifold and before the mud enter into the drilling mud processing system.
