Fix the gearbox input shaft, to make the gearbox output shaft speed little lower than gearbox housing speed, to drive the rotor assembly in a speed which is slower than screen basket assembly rotation speed. Thus, screen basket assembly and rotor assembly form same rotation direction separation machine with proper differential speed.
The power of GNCD930G-VFD VFD vertical cuttings dryer is from a dual ex-proof motor driving system. It is a variable speed dryer. The motor drive the main pulley, the main pulley drive the gearbox housing via V belt, the gearbox drive the bell jar combination and screen basket assembly. The auxiliary motor is a flameproof motor. The input shaft is driven by the V-belt through the main pulley, so that the power is converted inside the differential to produce a speed slightly lower than that of the gearbox housing on the output shaft, thereby driving the rotor assembly to a slightly lower speed. Rotating at a speed lower than that of the screen basket assembly. In this way, the screen basket assembly and the rotor total constitute a separation-discharge mechanism with a certain differential speed and high-speed rotation in the same direction.
