GN Solids 7700BBL Rapid Mud Plant Successfully Delivered to Baker Hughes

GN SOLIDS CONTROL has successfully delivered a 7,700 BBL Rapid Deployment Liquid Mud Plant to Baker Hughes for drilling fluid storage, transfer, and field operation in the Middle East.

The project demonstrates GN’s capability to provide modular mud handling solutions for international drilling service companies operating under demanding oilfield conditions.

The complete 7,700 BBL rapid mud plant consists of 18 sets of portable 40HQ mud storage tanks, 4 sets of diesel-driven mobile centrifugal pumps, and complete supporting accessories. The modular design allows the system to be assembled, dismantled, transported, and relocated efficiently according to drilling schedules and wellsite requirements.

In addition to rapid deployment liquid mud plants, GN SOLIDS CONTROL can provide a full package drilling fluids mud system complete with shale shaker, mud cleaner, desander, desilter, centrifugal pump, mixing hopper, high shearing and mixing hopper, mud agitators, and electrical control system.

For fine solids separation and drilling fluid recovery, GN also manufactures decanter centrifuges with VFD, FHD, or fixed speed control for option. Different centrifuge control configurations can be selected according to mud properties, treatment capacity, and field operating requirements.

With integrated design and manufacturing capabilities, GN can combine mud storage, transfer, mixing, solids control, and fine separation equipment into a complete drilling fluid processing solution. The successful delivery of this 7,700 BBL rapid mud plant further strengthens GN SOLIDS CONTROL’s experience in supporting drilling contractors and drilling fluid service companies with reliable and flexible equipment for complex field operations.
