4.3.1.1.Switch on the decanter centrifuge mains power supply first;
4.3.1.2.Start-up the back motor and see if the motor run well . Start the main motor after the auxiliary motor run in normal for 30 seconds.
4.3.1.3.Start-up the main motor. Pay attention to the running condition of the decanter centrifuge, if any abnormality occurs, stop it promptly, and find out the causes.

4.3.1.4.Open the shunt valve of mud filling pipes, start-up the motor of mud filling pump, supply mud. Pay attention to sand discharging condition of the centrifuge. If no abnormality, regulate the fraction of flowing stream, increase the amount of feeding mud gradually. Split-flow should be done to lighten the load of the centrifuge when discharged sand is too much.
4.3.2.1.Turn off the motor of mud filling pump, stop feeding mud to the decanter centrifuge.
4.3.2.2.Close the 2″ball valve in feeding pipe; open the flushing valves in feeding pipe and box body, flush for at least 10 minutes
4.3.2.3.Cut off the water supplying valve. Press the button “stop” on the main motor.
4.3.2.4.Press button “stop” on auxiliary motor and cut off the mains after the drum stop rotating completely (Attention: Don’t cut off the mains while the drum rotate in high-speed. It may lead to auxiliary motor’s being damaged because drum may drive auxiliary motor to rotate in over-speed if the mains is cut off at the moment!!)

Offshore Discharge: Offshore discharge is in most cases the least expensive and operationally uncomplicated, of the three options. Onshore Disposal: If drilling wastes are not handled onsite either via discharge or CRI, they will need to be transported to shore for disposal. Consideration of any onshore disposal option must also include consideration of the offshore operations and transport associated with getting the drilling waste to shore. There are a number of environmental, operational, and economic disadvantages to the selection of onshore disposal. These operations require extensive use of support vessels to take the cuttings to a shore location.
