2 phase and 3 phase centrifuge separation for oil sludge separation system

Oil sludge is a mixture waste which is consisting of oil, water and solids, soil. There are generally 3 solutions of oil sludge treatment, in order of separation effect and the investment, the 3 solutions is as following:

Option 1 Shaker modular + 2 phase centrifuge centrifuge modular: If the customer only requires solid-liquid separation, and does not require oil-water separation, use shale shaker separation with 2-phase centrifuge centrifuge.

Option 2 Shaker modular + 3 phase centrifuge centrifuge modular:
If the customer requires three-phase separation of oil, water, and slag, but the requirements for three-phase separation are not high, use shale shaker separation, and 3-phase decanter centrifuge.

Option 3 Shaker modular + 3 phase centrifuge centrifuge modular + 3 phase disc centrifuge modular:
If the customer requires three-phase separation of oil, water, and slag, and the requirements for three-phase separation are relatively high. Use shale shake separation, 2-phase decanter centrifuge, and three-phase disc centrifuge. The advantage of a three-phase disc centrifuge is that it can get clean water and oil, but the disadvantage is that it is easy to block.And the cost is higher.

Drilling waste management transfer pump and screw conveyor

The vacuum screen unit package can be used to replace the combination of solids control shale shaker plus drying shaker. Oil sludge separation and Waste management

GN Solids Control will ask for pictures and / or videos of the raw waste sludge to design and implement the different phases of clients’ project for the waste management coming from the Oil & Gas sector.

GN Solids Control offers 2-phase separation and 3-phase separation treatment on oil base mud (OBM), oil sludge treatment solution, tank cleaning, vessel cleaning, etc…

The 2-phase separation treatment: It is for liquid and solids separation. Most clients only need to reduce the solids waste and recover the usable drilling fluids for reuse. In this situation, they will choose 2-phase separation system.
It is more popular and the process is relative easier. Oil base mud and water base mud is used for different drilling sections. The separation equipment for OBM and WBM is different. The major separation equipment for OBM cuttings is vertical cuttings dryer. It can reduce the oil on cuttings to 5% and less.

If for water base mud, high G drying shaker is used to reduce the liquid content.

After vertical cuttings dryer and High H drying shaker, decanter centrifuge is used to remove the fine solids in the recovered fluids which comes from cuttings dryer with high content fine solids content. The purpose of the centrifuge application is to reduce the mud weight to make it suit for reused. After high speed centrifuge separation, the fluids will go back to solids control mud system for drilling activities. Some time, will use chemical dosing system for flocculation.

Another option is more complex, it is 3 phase separation: it means the separation of solids, water and oil. GN Solids Control have both 2-phase and 3-phase centrifuge. 3-phase centrifuge can only allow slurry with less than 3% solids contend. In this case, clients have to use 2-phase centrifuge before 3-phase centrifuge. But while treating the sludge with less ultra fine particles, clients can use 3-phase decanter centrifuge or disc centrifuge to separate oil and water.

GN Sludge Vacuum Pump for drilling tank cleaning and oil spill recovery

GN Solids Control Sludge Vacuum Pump is widely used for oil and gas drilling. There are many functions of the pump whiled used for different applications.

The GN Solids Control sludge vacuum pump can be used to carry drilling waste and drilling cuttings from drilling mud system, and transfer to trucks or other separation device. As the vacuum pump is high pressure for suction and discharge, it is normally used together with drilling waste distributor stations for buffering and for discharge to next step process stage.

API RP 13C replacement shaker screens for drilling mud shale shaker and drying shaker

Shaker screen is the most common and important wearing spares of shale shaker separator, such as solids control shale shaker, drilling waste drying shaker, comboned type shale shaker with desander and/or desilter, coarse shale shaker, etc…

In many cases, clients are looking for replacement screens to suit for their shale shakers purchased from various companies. But many clients many wonder that, every company have their own screen part no., they do not know how can they make sure that, the quoted screens can suit for their shakers and applications.

API RP13C is an internal standard for replacement screen manufacturing, labeling and packing. If the Screens are made per API RP13C, it proves that that the same API size from different makers are fully interchangeable. This is the root reason that all major screen users requested screens must be complied with API RP13C.

GN Solids Control makes various models replacement shaker screens which are all complied with API RP13C. GN Solids Control is the only one screen manufacturer from China who has third party test report from U.S lab for all the API sizes. Some companies said they have API RP 13C testing report, but it only cover a few API size. The reason is that, the qualified third party lab will test the samples offered by the manufacturer.

2. GN Solids Control offered fixed covers on top of the auger. The top cover material can be metal plate for good sealing, and small hole gratings for watching side to check the auger discharge.

3. The covers can be fixed at both sizes, or with hinges on one side & provision for locks and bolts on the other side. It is for fast open and close. And plus, it can avoid the missing of the cover at job site.

4. And plus, in case of the auger top cover can be opened unexpectedly, or un-locked well, the auger will be auto-stop for protection.

5. GN Solids Control equips Audio / visual alarm on auger starter control panel, which is located near the auger. The Audio & visual alarm which will be automatically activated once the power is switched on followed by the actual auger start-up with a safety delay time. Audio / Visual Alarm to be in the OFF mode after some time once the auger starts operation.
