Applications of drilling mud vortex hopper
Normally, vortex mud hopper used together with centrifugal mixing pump, 1 vortex mud hopper + 1 mixing pump, or 2 vortex mud hopper + 2 mixing pump, it is called jet mud mixer. If it widely used in oil and gas drilling, HDD, CBM, micro tunneling, piling, water well drilling, etc…
While the vortex mud hopper combined with shearing hopper, it is a shearing mixing. It is used while there is fibrin in the injected chemicals. Shearing pump will cut the fibrin before enter into hopper for mixing.
