GN Solids Control offers professional proposal for various kinds of oily sludge separation application in oil field. The oil sludge includes oily waste from tank cleaning, from drilling mud system, from waste pits, from crude oil storage tank, from refinery, and so on.

Oil sludge is a mixture waste which is consisting of oil, water and solids, soil. The treatment of the oil sludge wastes is normally to recover as much oil and water for reuse, and reduce the solids waste. And some times, it will request 3 phase separation of oil, waste and soil. Also it is an ideal solution to for the solids disposal. It is also good for environment protection. If more oil and water recovered, more energy and resource could be saved. And the waste material is reduced.

GN oil sludge treatment plant mainly include shale shaker separation and decanter centrifuge separation, oil water separators and waste waster water treatment unit.

There are generally 3 solutions of oil sludge treatment, in order of separation effect and the investment, the 3 solutions is as following:

Option 1 Shaker modular + 2 phase centrifuge centrifuge modular: If the customer only requires solid-liquid separation, and does not require oil-water separation, use shale shaker separation with 2-phase centrifuge centrifuge.

Option 2 Shaker modular + 3 phase centrifuge centrifuge modular:
If the customer requires three-phase separation of oil, water, and slag, but the requirements for three-phase separation are not high, use shale shaker separation, and 3-phase decanter centrifuge.

Option 3 Shaker modular + 3 phase centrifuge centrifuge modular + 3 phase disc centrifuge modular:
If the customer requires three-phase separation of oil, water, and slag, and the requirements for three-phase separation are relatively high. Use shale shake separation, 2-phase decanter centrifuge, and three-phase disc centrifuge. The advantage of a three-phase disc centrifuge is that it can get clean water and oil, but the disadvantage is that it is easy to block.And the cost is higher.
