GN SOLIDS CONTROL recently manufacture a 14,000 BBL rapid liquid mud plant for a Global professional drilling fluids company. The system is designed for efficient drilling mud storage, transfer, preparation, and field deployment, providing a practical solution for projects that require large mud capacity together with fast mobilization.
The complete liquid mud plant is designed according to API 650 requirements. Each mud tank adopts the dimensions of a standard 40-foot high cube container and provides approximately 440 BBL storage capacity. This standardized design makes transportation, site arrangement, and system expansion much easier for drilling fluids service companies.
For international transportation, the tanks are designed with CSC container certification, allowing them to be handled and transported in a similar way to standard shipping containers. Another important feature is the double-layer stackable design. The tanks can be arranged in two levels, helping reduce the required site footprint while maintaining a large total mud storage capacity.
This is especially useful for projects where available working area is limited.
