As governments paid more and more attention on environment protection and increase standard of drilling waste discharge. Waste management equipment became more and more important for drilling rig operation.
Usual waste management equipment for oil and gas drilling rigs:
1) High G shaker. Also called high G dryer. It is mainly used for water base mud. For lower cost, some rig operation will choose it as replacement of vertex G dryer (vertical cuttings dryer). But I can only reduce OOC (oil on cuttings) to 15~20% around. Not dry enough.
2) Vertical cuttings dryer (vertex G dryer). Mainly for oil base mud. It can reduce OOC to 3~5%. Cost relative higher.
3) Decanter centrifuge, especially big bowl centrifuge with big volume
4) Nemo pump for feeding
5) Screw conveyor for collect and transfer drilling cuttings
6) Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU)
