GN Solids Control has successfully delivered two complete drilling rig solids control systems to a valued client in the Middle East, further strengthening GN’s presence in the international oil and gas drilling market. The project demonstrates GN’s capability to provide high-performance solids control equipment for demanding drilling operations in harsh environments.
The delivered package includes six units of GNZS594 drilling fluid shale shakers, two mud cleaners with a processing capacity of 1500 GPM each, and four high-volume VFD decanter centrifuges. These systems are designed to improve drilling fluid recovery efficiency, reduce waste discharge, and support continuous drilling operations.
The GNZS594 shale shaker is one of GN’s flagship solids control products, widely recognized for its reliable performance and durable design. Equipped with high-quality composite shaker screens and an advanced vibration system, the shale shaker effectively removes large drilled solids from the drilling fluid during the first stage of solids control. The use of six shale shakers ensures stable and efficient processing capacity for the client’s drilling rigs.
The two 1500 GPM mud cleaners combine desander and desilter technologies to remove medium and fine particles from the drilling mud. By maintaining proper mud properties, the mud cleaners help extend the service life of downstream equipment and improve drilling efficiency. Their compact structure and easy maintenance design make them suitable for both onshore and offshore drilling applications.
In addition, the package includes four high-volume VFD . These centrifuges are equipped with variable frequency drive systems, allowing operators to adjust bowl speed and differential speed according to different drilling conditions. The centrifuges provide highly efficient separation of ultra-fine solids, helping operators maintain drilling fluid performance while reducing disposal costs.
