OBM which is known as Oil-based mud , the Oil-based mud is a mud where the base fluid is a petroleum product such as diesel fuel.
When treating OBM,most user need make OOC as low as they can, to recovery most fluid,because oil based mud is very expensive and if many fluid get away from drilling fluid,it will mean left fluid will pollute the environment,and some government not allow it
Based on this situation,GN engineer team design drilling cutting management system -GNCM-40,to recovery most fluid,and let user easy to treat discharged solids part
This system is mainly include Vertical cutting dryer and decanter centrifuge,and speed of centrifuge was advice adjustable to make separate result best
The cutting point of vertical dryer is 0.25-0.5mm,and most solids part will separate out,and centrifuge will treat rest fluid,the cutting point was 2~5μm,after that,most useless solids part will be removed,and the fluid can back to mud system to be reused
The OOC(oil on the cutting) after vertical dryer can be under 5% mostly,and this percentage means the solids part not include much fluid,and sludge treatment quantity reduce a lot,many cost for sludge management can be saved

The screen of vertical cutting dryer is spare parts,local engineer should check it every 3month,to make sure equipment always stay at best state
The vertical dryer was good for treating cutting from shaker well,but for solids from centrifuge can’t refeed to vertical dryer because of solids size not suitable,and the solids will stick the screen
