This week, one batch of the vertical cuttings dryer and decanter centrifuge will be completed the test running in GN factory, and then shipping to Russia for a mud service company. The cuttings dryer and decanter centrifuge are key equipment in oilfield mud service project.

Cuttings dryer is a type of separation equipment that mainly used in drilling cuttings management system. The cuttings discharged from the solids control primary shale shaker can be transferred to the cuttings dryer unit for further treatment to recover more drilling fluids.

Below features of GN vertical cuttings dryer unit:
1. Inside screen opening size optional as 250, 350 and 500 microns for different cut point application.
2. Air knife system for screen blowing to prevent the blocking during operating.
3. Liquid discharging ring groove flushing system to prevent sediment of fine solids.
4. Oil lubrication pump interlocked with main motor to prevent the dry running without bearing system lubrication.

The vertical cuttings dryer can be used for OWM and SWM cuttings further treatment, after treating by the dryer unit, the oil content on cuttings would be less than 5%.

In mud service industry, the decanter centrifuge has a wide application. Firstly, it can be used in drilling mud solids control system for barite recovery and ultrafine solids separation. Secondly, the effluence liquid discharged from the vertical cuttings dryer will be pumped to the decanter centrifuge for polishing to recover more clean drilling fluids. Decanter centrifuge is an important equipment to keep the drilling mud property.  

Below features of GN decanter centrifuge
1. Wide range of bowl diameter optional 9 inch, 14 inch, 18inch, 22 inch, 25 inch and 30 inch.
2. Bowl material is using duplex stainless steel of 2304.
3. Centrifugal casting technology in making the bowl to make the bowl material distribution much denser for better dynamic balance.
4. Screw propeller, mud distribution port and solid discharge port protected by tungsten carbide bushing for long working time and low maintenance.
5. PLC and VFD control panel is available for client higher demand.
