Last week, GN Solids Control delivered Solids Control Centrifuges to Russia for drilling mud treatment. GN Solids Control decanter centrifuges are mainly used to treat drilling mud in oil and gas industries.

Now GN made centrifuges are classified by 9 inch bowl decanter centrifuge, 14 inch bowl centrifuge, 18 inch bowl centrifuge and 22 inch centrifuge and 30 inch bowl centrifuge. GN made 14 inch bowl centrifuge and 22 inch bowl centrifuge are widely used in solids control, barite recovery etc. Those centrifuges we provided to Russia will be used for solids control of drilling mud for different drilling rigs. GN Solids Control decanter centrifuge is mainly composed by rotating bowl, screw propeller, catch box and foundation etc.

GN Solids Control has been upgrading centrifuges every other years based on the valuable feedback that collected from the work site. More than 200 sets decanter centrifuges are provided to global customers every year with word of mouth high remarks. GN made decanter centrifuges are upgraded in order to meet customers demands well. 

GN centrifuge rotating bowl is made of duplex stainless steel by centrifugal casting, centrifuge bowl material is SS2304 or SS2305 much better than SS 316. Solids discharge port inside the screw propeller and on the rotating bowl are protected by tungsten carbide tiles or tungsten inserts, which are only designed for a longer using life without frequent maintenance.

GN Solids Control provides variable speed control panel and fix speed control panel. Explosion-proof standard such as IEC Ex, ATEX can be provided based on where the centrifuges will be used. GN Solids Control has provided hundreds sets decanter centrifuges in Russia. Most of them are used in the oil and gas industry for drilling mud solids control and drill cuttings treatment. Some other centrifuges are also used in non-oil and gas industry, such as mining slurry treating, environmental slurry treating etc.
