Oil sludge is always treated as one of the most difficult treating materials due to heavy density and large solids content. As one of the leading solids and liquid separation equipment manufacturer, GN Solids Control has rich and successful experience to provide a most cost effective oil sludge treating system. 
Last week GN Solids Control finished manufacturing of another set modular oil sludge washing and separation system il sludge washing and separation system with the treating capacity of 5 m3/h for a Uzbekistan customer. Below are the main treating equipment in this modular oil sludge treating unit:

1.GN Feeding Modular
GN Feeding Modular consists of a 20B vacuum pump with an air compressor. Vacuum pump is especially designed to move the oil sludge and some other solids with big particles. GN vacuum pump can be work under automatic mode and manual mode. 

2.GN Pre-heating & Mixing Modular

Oil sludge is moved by the vacuum pump into GN pre-heating and mixing tank where the sludge is heated and diluted with water and chemicals added to make it evenly and flow smoothly. This heating tank is fixed with hot pipe inside the tank wall, and GN heavy duty mud agitators N heavy duty mud agitators keep the sludge from sediment. Meanwhile a liquid level sensor connect with the control system to keep the sludge at a certain volume.  
3.GN Shaker Separation Modular
GN Shaker Separation Modular is a containerized system for quick movement. One GNZS703 shaker is used to remove particles above 100 microns with the anti-spraying cover and flushing nozzles. All screens are build by GN Solids Control and strictly comply with API RP 13C standard. 

4.GN Chemical Dosing Unit 
GN Chemical Dosing Unit is a automatic chemicals providing unit with pipes connected to GN Heating & Mixing Modular, GN Shaker Separation Modular and GN Centrifuge Modular. 
5.GN Decanter Centrifuge Modular 

Here GN Solids Control provides one 2 phase horizontal decanter centrifuge and one 3 phase Disc-Separator. Typically, after treated by decanter centrifuge, oil on solids is around 1~3% , besides after treated by Disc-separator recovery oil has BS&W around 2~3% and recovery water is around 1000~3000 ppm.
