GN Solids Control is pleased to announce the successful shipment of a fully hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge and a vertical cuttings dryer to a valued client in Asia. This delivery demonstrates our continued commitment to providing advanced solids control and drilling waste management solutions across the region.

Fully Hydraulic Drive Decanter Centrifuge

The centerpiece of this shipment is the fully hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge. Unlike conventional electric motor-driven models, this centrifuge features a cutting-edge hydraulic drive system designed for demanding drilling operations.

The system drives both the conveyor and bowl from a hydraulic pump unit through two independent hydraulic oil circuits, enabling precise and flexible adjustment of bowl speed and scroll differential speed even during operation. This capability optimizes separation performance under varying feed conditions and makes the centrifuge particularly well-suited for high-temperature environments and heavy mud applications.

With fewer electrical components, the hydraulic system reduces the risk of electrical failures, simplifies troubleshooting, and minimizes downtime. The centrifuge, hydraulic drive system, and control panel are integrated on a single skid for easy rig-up and transport.

Vertical Cuttings Dryer

Complementing the centrifuge is a vertical cuttings dryer, a core piece of equipment for drilling waste management. Primarily designed to treat drill cuttings discharged from shale shakers when drilling with oil-based or synthetic-based mud, the dryer utilizes high-speed centrifugal force to effectively remove residual liquid from cuttings.
