The friends who keep paying attention on GN may still remember the same time last year, GN’s strategy partner, EMEC, ordered over 30 units GN C series decanter centrifuge one time. Now, the centrifuges in this batch are running on site in Algeria, the performance was highly praised by the user.

From below picture, we can see GN’s centrifuge was located on steel frame as 2 units in one group. In a drilling fluids solids control system, this layout helps the centrifuge perform to different purpose. In the group, one centrifuge is equipped with low speed pulley, which is used for barite recovery. The liquid effluence from the low speed centrifuge will be transferred to the high speed centrifuge for low SG (Specific Gravity) solids removal from the drilling mud. With a high location, the treated active mud would flow back to the solids control system under the Gravity force. GN’s centrifuges are also widely used in waste cuttings management system.

Rome was not built in a day. Actually, the cooperation between EMEC and GN started several years before. Before this order, EMEC had already ordered nearly 10 units GN’s decanter centrifuge for trial project and some other projects. During the past years, GN was keeping improving the technology and the products quality. EMEC have used many versions of GN decanter centrifuge. GN is lucky because none of GN’s centrifuge failed in EMEC’s projects, it is GN’s good quality and guaranteed services make it.

GN’s C series decanter centrifuges have been widely used home and abroad. Comparing with GN’s B series, the C series has larger capacity and longer lifetime which all benefit by the upgrade of internal structure and parts application.
