A clean and specific gravity drilling mud is vital important for HDD drilling companies, last week GN Solids Control finished manufacturing of 2 sets HDD mud reclaimers for a International drilling contractor. 
GN Solids Control builds standard mud reclaimers such as 200 GPM, 500 GPM and 1000 GPM, also GN can customize mud reclaimers based on clients’ different demands. As for these 2 sets GN systems, they are composed by the following GN equipment:

1.Standard 500 GPM Mud Reclaimer
GN standard 500 GPM mud reclaimer is a double deck shaker fixed with 10 inch desander cyclone. Centrifugal pump feeds the slurry into bottom deck shaker before a second centrifugal pump feed it into the 10 inch cylone. 
Clean drilling mud is overflow from the cyclone, which can be used to prepare new active drilling mud after adding drilling additives. GN 500 GPM mud reclaimer is smart to move and able to put in a standard container for sea shipping. No need to take time to assemble the whole system, as it just need to connect with the outside feeding pump by flange or fast connection. 

2.Mud Tank with Jet Mud Mixer
Drilling by different depths, the drilling bits have different working pressure. To keep the drilling bit in a good working condition, clean drilling mud is send into the drill hole continuously. 
Two parallel mud hoppers are fixed on the tank skid, can be overpassed by the valves on the pipes conveniently. 

3.Double Deck Shaker 
GN Solids Control builds two main types of double deck shaker: one type can play as a 2 phase separation unit, while the other type can use same API no. Screens on the two decks to increase the treating flow rate. 
All screens used are made by GN Solids Control, which are tested by USA 3 rd party to conform with API RP 13C with very strict rules.
