Several weeks ago, GN Solids America shipped another mud cleaner to one drilling rig client based in Texas. Mud cleaner is a compact 3 in 1 unit includes bottom shale shaker, 10 inch desander cyclones and 4 inch desilter cyclones. 
Usually shale shaker is the first phase drilling mud treating unit to remove solids or particles larger than 100 microns, while the cyclones are used to remove particles larger than 25 microns or 55 microns varies on the cyclone sizes. 
It is important to remove those relative fine particles from 100 microns to 25 microns in order to decrease the treating pressure of afterwards decanter centrifuge. GN Solids Control is one the leading solids and liquid separation equipment manufacturer who can provide a turnkey solution. Beside GN shaker, desander and desitler or mud cleaner, GN Solids Control also builds decanter centrifuge and cuttings dryer. 

As for this GN Mud Cleaner, it will be used in one Texas drilling rig site. GN mud cleaner is equipped with USA made Martin or Italy made OLI brand vibrators. GN Solids Control is able to provide IEC Ex, ATEX, or CNEX certified control boxes especially used in the oil and gas industry. 
GN made mud cleaner is also able to upgraded into a drying shaker with a GN ViST (vacuum screen unit) to recover more than 20-30% drilling mud.
