GN Solids 6 Package TBM Slurry Separation Plant for South Korea
GN Solids Control is pleased to announce the successful shipment of six complete TBM Slurry Separation Plants to a prestigious client in South Korea. This significant delivery underscores our growing presence in the global tunneling and underground construction market.
Designed specifically for slurry balance tunnel boring machines (TBMs) , these separation plants are engineered to handle demanding tunneling conditions with processing capacities of 500 m³/h and 750 m³/h per system. The varied capacities allow for flexible configuration based on specific project requirements and tunnel diameters.

Key Features of the GN TBM Slurry Separation Plants:
Each system incorporates three core treatment modules to ensure comprehensive slurry management:
Scalping Screen: Primary separation for coarse particles and large debris.
Desander Unit: Secondary stage for removing medium-sized sand particles.
Desilter Unit: Tertiary fine solids control for maintaining optimal slurry properties.

The entire plant features a modular design, delivering several operational advantages:
Compact structure suitable for space-constrained tunnel construction sites.
Easy and rapid assembly and disassembly for efficient project mobilization.
Small footprint while maintaining high processing capacity.

With our professional slurry separation technology, these systems guarantee stable and reliable performance for South Korea's challenging shield tunneling projects. Proper slurry conditioning is essential for maintaining tunnel face stability, reducing cutter wear, and ensuring smooth TBM operation.
This shipment to South Korea further demonstrates GN Solids Control's global competitiveness and proven engineering strength in providing specialized separation solutions for the infrastructure and tunneling industry. We remain committed to supporting major underground construction projects worldwide with reliable, high-performance equipment.
