GN Solids Control built different types of transfer pumps such as centrifugal pump, submersible pump, screw pump, vacuum pump and cuttings transfer pump etc. Different pumps are designed to use in different working conditions and suitable for different materials.
Today we would like to give GN customers a short introduction of GN Cuttings Transfer Pump. As we all know, GN Solids Control is specialized in solids and liquid separation, many materials like high density, large viscosity, big solids content drill cuttings are hard to move when use tradition transfer pump. GN made cuttings transfer pump is especially designed to move the drill cuttings effectively.

It’s usually seen that screw conveyors working in drilling rig site to collect the drilling cuttings discharged from shale shaker, mud cleaner, decanter centrifuge and cuttings dryer etc collected by screw conveyors first, and move to oil sludge treating plant for further treating. While screw conveyor is not suitable to use when there is too much water inside, also every time to assemble and disassemble the screw conveyor cost a lot time, let alone must take the tile angle into consideration.
GN Cuttings Transfer Pump is using a hydraulic cylinder and the most popular S type distribution valve. Drill cuttings are moved by back and forward movement of the hydraulic cylinder and S type valve distribution. It can move high solids content drilling cuttings by flexible hoses to targeted treating equipment.

Horizontal moving distance is 100 m, and vertial distance is up to 40 m. Whole machine is designed compactly in one lifting frame to move easily and maintenance freely. When use on offshore drilling platform, GN Cuttings Transfer Pump can be also provided together with DNV 2.7-1 Lifting Certificate. Control box and motor are optional for IEC, ATEX and CNEX explosion-proof.
GN Solids Control now provides 3 models, GNYXB10-15, GNYXB15-22 and GNYXB20-30. Transfer flow rate from 20 t/hour to 40 t/hour.
