Drilling waste management system has already been one of GN’s main products that ever requested very often from clients. Now in GN’s workshop, one set drilling waste management system is under the final processing procedure. After that, this unit would be sent to GN’s client from Africa. GN’s drilling waste management system is of clear process diagram, easy operation and complete processing equipment to get more and more attention from clients.

Below is a brief introduction of this unit.

1. Shaker tank skid – The waste source are mainly coming from oily drilling waste, oil tank cleaning slurry and refineries disposal waste. In the plant, all these waste mixture would be put together in a pit and then transferred to a high G force shaker for large size solids separation. This shaker could also be connected with hot water spraying pipe for waste washing to speed up the oil demulsification. The tank under-located the shaker unit is used for storage the slurry temporally. For oily sludge treatment, the shaker unit would be sealed or equipped with deck cover to prevent waste splashing out of the shaker to dirty the surrounding machine.

2. Dosing System& Centrifuge Skid – GN designed a skid on which the polymer dosing system and high speed centrifuge are installed. This design fully uses the space as well as considers the compact structure. The 3-compartment polymer mixing tank is equipped with automatic powder dosing system that controls the hose screw adding chemical powders in to the mixing hopper automatically as per the liquid level inner the tank. The cured agent will be finally fed to the centrifuge and mixed with the slurry there. Operator can choose GN’s 14 inch, 18 inch and 22 inch decanter centrifuge as the dewatering centrifuge according the required treating capacity. FYI, the capacity of the forementioned centrifuge is 10m3, 15m3 and 25m3. Besides, the centrifugeneeds screw pump to suck the slurry from shaker tank and feed to the centrifuge unit.

 

3. Acid & Alkali Liquid storage Skid – A suitable PH value would speed up the demulsification procedure. Thus, GN equips two cylinder tanks to store the acid and alkali liquid. Operators could mix the liquid manually in the tank.
4. Oil Water Separator Skid – GN’s oil water separator skid is optional to match in this system for separating the oil water mixture liquid. Firstly, the liquid discharged from the decanter centrifuge would flow into a sloping separator for further solids settlement. And then the liquid will flow into the separator for water and oil separation.

GN’s drilling waste management system, especially for oily waste treatment, is widely accepted as one of the final disposal solution for reducing the OOC and recovering more valuable oil. GN is also able to put the entire system into the container unit for application in the places with extreme tough weather.
