GN Solids Control is a solids control equipment manufacturer who can provide whole solids control and drilling waste management equipment product line. Last month, GN Solids Control finished manufacturing of 5 sets vacuum degassers for a China drilling company. 
GN Solids Control builds 3 main different types of degassers, include vacuum degasser, centrifugal degasser and poor boy degasser. 
As for this drilling company, GN Solids Control provides vacuum degasser model GNZCQ360B which can treat max. 360 m3/h drilling mud, GN Solids Control also manufactures smaller model GNZCQ270A with the capacity of 270 m3/h. 

Vacuum degasser and centrifugal degasser are both used to remove fine bubbles compared to poor boy degasser mainly used to eliminate big ones. Vacuum degasser is mainly put in front of desander or desilters before feeding drilling mud into the cyclones. After treated by vacuum degasser, drilling mud can be controlled in a proper drilling gravity, and it also play a important role to keep the gas-cut mud when feeding by a centrifugal pump into the afterwards cyclones. 
Due to vacuum degasser takes a larger roon, sometimes clients prefer to use centrifugal degasser it the mud tank surface is too tight. 

GN made poor boy degasser is also called mud gas separator, it is fixed with a big distribution plate which can evenly hit the drilling mud from high position pipes. Usually the poor boy degasser is far away from the drilling rig so the hazardous air like H2S can be burned with the help to fire igniter.   
These 5 sets vacuum degassers will be shipped to client rig sites very soon.
