8 Decanter centrifuge ready for SINOPEC no pit drilling
As environmental protection is strongly emphasized by government and surrounding resident, no pit drilling concept is becoming widely accepted by more drilling site operations. Without mud pit, on line treatment drilling waste equipment need to be installed besides the mud system. Recently, GN Solids Control receive big order for 16 sets high G dryer and 8 sets centrifuge working for SINOPEC no pit drilling project, serving 8 oil drilling rigs. The direct buyer is domestic famous oil service company with many years rich experience in solids control & drilling waste management.
1) 16 sets High G dryer shaker as first stage of drilling waste dryer process
High G dryer shaker is generally used for water based mud drilling cuttings treatment. After discharged from shale shaker, the waste cuttings will be transported to High G dryer shaker via screw conveyors. After High G, the liquid on cuttings can be reduced down to about 10%.
2) 8 sets decanter centrifuge as second stage, to remove the fine solids from drilling waste.
GN decanter centrifuge with 3200rpm, can remove the fine solids particles with 2-5 microns.After treated by centrifuge, the clean liquid will flow to active tank for reuse; the solids drop down to skips will be taken to mud plant with TDU machine for final treatment.
As key equipment for solids control & drilling waste management, GN decanter centrifuge is widely working in over 60 countries and areas drilling site. 70% of GN centrifuge is exported to overseas drilling market and the rest is mainly working for domestic big oil service companies, like SINOPEC, CNPC, and CNOOC etc.
Mud Dewatering unit: If the users want to remove solids and chemicals below 5 microns, chemical enhanced configuration will be provided by mud dewatering unit with flocculent unit & coagulation unit. GN Solids Control has been providing 20ft containerized dewatering unit since last year. Customer is happy with the working performance.
If for oil based mud or synthetic based mud, vertical cuttings dryer should replace the High G dryer to reach better performance, the OOC is about 3%. GN vertical cuttings dryer can also be used for water based mud. Pls see working video from GN website.
