Deep-well drilling rig solid control system of the for coalfield geology to China Drilling company

GN Solids Control has made a specialized solid control system for a deep-well drilling rig tailored to the coalfield geology operations for the China Drilling Company. This system is designed to efficiently manage and recycle drilling mud, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effective operations.

The solid control system consists of several key components. It includes four (4) mud tanks that are used for the storage and separation of drilling fluids. Two (2) GNZS594 shale shakers are integrated into the system to remove large solids from the mud. The system also features one (1) mud cleaner, which further refines the drilling fluid by removing finer solids that are not captured by the shakers.

For more advanced separation, the drilling mud recycling system is equipped with a GNLW452 decanter centrifuge. It is a 18-inch big bowl decanter centrifuge operates at a medium speed and is specifically designed for high-gravity separation, effectively removing fine particles and enhancing the quality of the recycled mud.

In addition to the separation equipment, the system is integrated with a complete mixing system. This includes one (1) centrifugal mixing pump, one (1) mixing hopper, and necessary mud agitators, which work together to ensure consistent mixing and proper circulation of the drilling mud throughout the drilling operation. The mixing system plays a crucial role in maintaining the proper viscosity and flow properties of the drilling mud, ensuring efficient drilling and preventing issues such as wellbore instability.

The entire system is controlled by an advanced electrical control system, providing a turnkey solution for the Drilling Company in China. This electrical control system ensures seamless operation of all equipment and components, allowing for real-time monitoring and precise control over the solid control and mud mixing process. The complete system is designed to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance the overall success of coalfield geology drilling operations.

Offshore Double Deck shale shaker and cuttings dryer for africa drilling company

Double deck shale shaker is mainly used in drilling operations on offshore platforms. They can effectively screen and remove solid particles generated during drilling, thereby ensuring that drilling mud is clean and reusable. The double deck shale shaker uses two sizes API size shaker screens through the design of a two deck vibrating screen deck to greatly improve the separation efficiency of solid particles, reduce the waste of drilling fluid, and improve the overall efficiency and environmental protection level of the operation. It occupies an important position in offshore platform drilling operations, especially for drilling tasks under high-intensity and complex conditions.

The vertical cuttings dryer is mainly used to treat oil-based cuttings generated in oil drilling. Oil-based cuttings are a type of oil drilling waste. Due to its high oil content, it has a greater potential for environmental pollution. The cuttings dryer can efficiently separate the solid and liquid components in the oil-based cuttings, recycle the oil as much as possible, and reduce the impact on the environment. Through the treatment of this equipment, the volume and treatment cost of the drilling waste can be greatly reduced. At the same time, the recovered oil-based drilling mud can be used again in drilling operations, further improving the economic benefits.

GN Solids Control is a company specializing in the production of drilling mud solids control equipment and drilling waste treatment equipment. With its rich experience and technical strength in this field, the company’s equipment is widely praised worldwide. Recently, a batch of double deck shale shakers and vertical cuttings dryers produced by GN Solids Control were successfully exported to a drilling companies in Africa. This batch of equipment will be used in local oil drilling operations to help customers better cope with the needs of mud solids control and waste treatment during drilling, and further improve the efficiency and environmental performance of operations.

GN Solids Control has always been committed to providing efficient and reliable drilling solids control and waste treatment solutions to global customers, and continues to maintain its leading position in this field through technological innovation and continuous product optimization. The success of this export also marks the further improvement of the company’s competitiveness in the international market, demonstrating the strength and potential of Chinese manufacturing in the field of high-end oil equipment.

GN Solids Control recently designed and produced a 1500GPM mud treatment system specifically tailored for geothermal drilling projects abroad. This state-of-the-art system integrates key components to enhance the efficiency and reliability of drilling fluid management in demanding environments.

At the heart of the system are two sets of GNZS594J-SHBF shale shaker, which play a crucial role in the initial separation of solids from the drilling mud.  Besides the shaleshaker shakers, there is a GNZJ594J-D3S16NF mud  cleaner, which further refines the separation process by removing finer particles from the fluid. Together, these units ensure optimal mud cleaning and recycling, which is vital for maintaining the performance and longevity of drilling equipment.

The mud treatment system is supported by a set of five specialized mud tanks, each designed for a specific function within the drilling process. The shaker tank collects fluids processed by the shakers, while the transfer tank serves as an intermediate storage area that helps regulate the flow of drilling fluids between various stages of treatment. The suction tank supplies clean mud to the drilling rig, ensuring a continuous supply of properly treated fluid. The liquid storage tank provides additional capacity for storing excess mud, and the water tank is used for preparing new mud mixtures or for other operational needs.

To further support efficient mud management, the system includes several auxiliary components. Agitators are used in the tanks to maintain uniform consistency of the mud, preventing solids from settling at the bottom. Centrifugal pumps are employed to transfer mud between different tanks and units, while jet mud mixing unit is utilized to prepare fresh mud components rapidly and uniformly. Mud guns are also incorporated to prevent sediment build-up and ensure consistent fluid movement throughout the tanks.

By combining these advanced features, GN Solids Control’s 1500GPM mud treatment system provides a comprehensive solution that meets the specific requirements of geothermal drilling projects. This system not only ensures efficient mud processing but also minimizes downtime and enhances the overall productivity and sustainability of drilling operations in challenging environments.
