GN Solids Control new design modular unit for drilling waste management show much better performance at jobsite. With this unit, the customer just need to connect them with proper length hose to achieve drilling waste management system for WBM / OBM /SBM.

Recently, we just deliver one sets of modular unit to CNPC jobsite for no pit drilling. They choose to use High G drying shaker and Decanter centrifuge for water based mud drilling cuttings management. There are some improvement on High G dryer shaker and decanter centrifuge.

GNZS594HGE-LD high G drying shaker improvement: The former design is High G shaker without beneath conical tank, at that time the user may fabricate one cement pit or fabricate a separate mud tank per deck dimension of the High G dryer shaker. To serve user’s better, GN improve the high G drying shaker with beneath conical tank. The liquid part can go down to conical tank for short time storage and will be pumped to next stage treatment by centrifuge. The solids part will be collected by cuttings box.

GNLW363CG-VFD high speed centrifuge improvement: formerly, the customer may fabricate high skid per the mud tank height and jobsite layout. Now GN company match one height adjustable telescopic skid for convenient use. The screw pump for feeding centrifuge will be also installed on the skid to save place. The liquid part after centrifuge will flow back to active tank by gravity; the solids parts will be collected by screw conveyor and transfer to cuttings box.

2015.06.06 high skid decanter centrifuge

If for oil based mud or synthetic based mud, it is better use vertical cuttings dryer. The dryer can reduce oil on cuttings (OOC) about 3%- 5%. We have one jobsite in Shell, the OOC is 2.9%. The customer is very satisfied with GN vertical cuttings dryer and gives repeated order after that.
