However, when the rotation speed drops, the effect is reduced to a geometric multiple.

The results show that the treatment effect of drilling wastewater treatment using high-speed centrifuge separation is quite satisfactory.

1, Viscosity and dynamic shear force

1) The viscosity of mud has a great influence on the horizontal directional drilling construction. The main changes are as follows: When the viscosity of mud is high, it has strong carrying capacity and good performance of wall protection, so it is hard to leak. However, the increase of viscosity will increase the flow resistance of mud, increase the power consumption, reduce the impact cutting ability of the drill bit, and affect the drilling speed. At the same time its deteriorating purification capacity, increasing pump resistance, affecting the cleaning time. When the viscosity of mud is low, its carrying capacity and protecting performance are worse. Therefore, different viscosity muds should be prepared according to different situations.

2) The dynamic shear force reflects the ability of the mud to form a space grid structure when flowing in the stratosphere. In horizontal directional drilling construction, dynamic shear ratio (the ratio of dynamic and plastic viscosities) is usually used to indicate the shear thinning strength.

2, Static force and thixotropy

The static shear force of slurry reflects the suspended debris carrying capacity of the slurry. The thixotropy refers to the property that the slurry becomes thinner (lower shear force) after stirring and thickens (increases the shear force) after standing. In horizontal directional drilling construction, the mud is usually required to have good thixotropy.

Loss of parameters

1) Loss of mud is an important property of mud and is closely linked to the wall-making properties of the mud, especially when it passes through unfavorable formations such as looseness, fragmentation and water instability.

2) The fluid loss of mud is mainly related to the type of bentonite, degree of hydration and dispersion, density of mudcake and other factors. OBM which is known as Oil-based mud , the Oil-based mud is a mud where the base fluid is a petroleum product such as diesel fuel.


When treating OBM,most user need make OOC as low as they can, to recovery most fluid,because oil based mud is very expensive and if many fluid get away from drilling fluid,it will mean left fluid will pollute the environment,and some government not allow it

This system is mainly include Vertical cutting dryer and decanter centrifuge,and speed of centrifuge was advice adjustable to make separate result best

The cutting point of vertical dryer is 0.25-0.5mm,and most solids part will separate out,and centrifuge will treat rest fluid,the cutting point was 2~5μm,after that,most useless solids part will be removed,and the fluid can back to mud system to be reused

 This design eliminates the need for a liquid interface controller. Both the oil and water flow over weirs where level control is accomplished by a simple displacer float. The oil overflows the oil weir into an oil bucket where its level is controlled by a level controller that  operates the oil dump valve. The water flows under the oil bucket and then over a water weir. The level downstream of this weir is controlled by a level controller that operates the water dump valve.

The height of the oil weir controls the liquid level in the vessel. The difference in height of the oil and water weirs controls the thickness of the oil pad due to specific gravity differences. It is critical to the operation of the vessel that the water weir height be sufficiently below the oil weir height so that the oil pad thickness provides sufficient oil retention time. If

the water weir is too low and the difference in specific gravity is not as great as anticipated, then the oil pad could grow in thickness to a point where oil will be swept under the oil box and out the water outlet. Normally, either the oil or the water weir is made adjustable so that changes in oil/water specific gravities or flow rates can be accommodated.
