For the Solids Control Equipment of Oil & Gas Drilling,there are only recommended rules for it.That’s why GN applied for API Q1 Management system.

For Shale Shaker Screens there  is API RP 13C (ISO 13501)?

• A new physical testing and labeling procedure for shaker screens. To be API RP 13C compliant, a screen must be tested and labeled in accordance with the new recommended practice.
• Two tests were devised: cut point and conductance. The tests describe a screen without predicting its performance and can be performed anywhere in the world.
• After identifying the cut point and conductance, complying with API RP 13C requires application of a permanent tag or label to the screen in a position that will be both visible and legible. Both cut point expressed as an API number and conductance shown in kD/mm are required on the screen label.
• Internationally, API RP 13C is ISO 13501.
• The new procedure is a revision of the previous API RP 13E, which was based on optical measurements of the screen opening using a microscope and computer analysis. Under API RP 13E, screen designations were based on individual manufacturer test methods, producing inconsistent labeling.

The Solids Control Module we propose is designed to accept flow capacities up to 2800 GPM, degassing capacity of 1200 GPM, desanding capacity of 1500 GPM and desilting capacity of 1600 GPM. All associated independent tanks and pumps required for the system are included in one compact skid. An auger system is supplied to move cuttings forward or aft of the Solids Control Module as required by the ongoing operation. A 300 lb. per sq. ft. capacity upper deck is designed to accommodate two centrifuges for fine solids separation. The Solids Control Module is built to be installed on the aft starboard corner of the drilling unit in one single lift.

HDD Mud Recycling System

between drill pipe changes , before lunch or before commencement of work in mornings . Its not often that you need to mix when pumping with the drill rig as the mud needs hydrate any way . The supercharge pump can be used for this by having a valve . The supercharge pump can also be used to pump mud back into the desilt tank , because with HDD normally there is lots of time when the desilt pump is on and sucking dry because there is no drilling occurring or there is not sufficient volumes coming back from the pit slurry pump to keep it charged efficently . Pumping clean mud back into the desilt tank also agitates the sludge at the bottom of the tank makes it easier to clean out . It also keeps the mud weight down and dilutes the fluid before going through the cones and further more the mud gets constantly recirculated resulting in cleaner drilling fluid .   This a key area for a good system in HDD and does not cost alot to install onto the system ! A 5×4 pump can operate this easily and also pump to the rig concurrently .

We enclosed GN 500 GPM Mud Recycling System FYI.Because,in this system,it only have a small compartment for mud storage,and also the mud mixing system is not combined in the recycling tank.Clients have mud storage tanks and mixing system and tanks separately.This reduce the cost for mud recycling system.

If you also do not want to combine the jet mixing part on the mud recycling tank,we can give you an alternative proposal.
